Rattan Maker
This is a printmaking to artwork. Printmaking is one of the printing method in ancient time. Old days people will engrave the art on wood, stone or others. Then, they coloured or inked it and transfer the art on a paper. In this artwork, an old man is making a rattan chair. It needs a lot of time and energy to produce a rattan chair, sometimes they might get hurt during the making process. This some had inspired me, so I engrave the picture on the lino and print it on newsprint paper. The size of this artwork is 66cm (w) x51cm(h).
